Juwel Filter Systems    

The Juwel Filter System offers reliable and effective two-stage biological and mechanical filtration, together with great ease of maintenance. The high volume filter ensures low maintenance along with easy access to all the media without having to remove the filter from the aquarium. Our pumps are designed to ensure the effectiveness of the filtration system by supplying an adequate slow flow of water through the filter media. Due to the large volume of filtration material, this flow ensures a highly effective filter, which results in crystal clear water.

All Juwel filter systems employ a fully submersible pump in sizes from 400 lph to 1500 lph. The pump will fit into all JUWEL Filter Systems except the Filter System Compact Super.

The capacity and efficiency of the pump is influenced primarily by the impeller installed in the pump. This impeller is rotating 24 hours a day throughout the year and thus subjected to wear and tear. Please check it regularly and replace it when you see the need. We have the replacement impeller for every one of our pumps on stock. The impeller 600 is designed for the pump Juwel 600 and can be also used in the pumps 400 and 1000.

The Juwel Pump Adaptor is the perfect fitting for the pumps 400, 600,1000 and 1500. In order to maintain low noise levels we recommend to replace this item every 12 months!
