Potamotrygon Falkneri
Also called the Tiger Ray or Big Spot River Stingray Potamotrygon Falkneri is native to N.E. Argentina, Central Paraguay and West Brazil in La Plata system.
Although similar in it's requirments to sp. motoro so far as water quality and feeding is concerned sp. falkneri is one of the rarest of the potamotrygon family in the aquarium trade. Indeed, aside from some scienctific journals, there is very little written or online documentation for this particular species.
