If you're looking for some of the old items which seem to have disappeared, don't panic, the have simply been moved to the appropriate section within the Web Site to make space for new articles. With so much happening its difficult to get the right balance and avoid spoiling the page by cramming too much on.

 

Livestock

Spring has off course has brought with it the pond season and the pond fish. Along with all the usual suspects we have some more of the giant goldfish which proved so popular, and for the first time in many years, Sturgeon.

There are also some new additions to the Reptile and Amphibian section with Tree Frogs and Water Dragons, and most certainly rare in Northern Ireland, Axolotl!

 

 

Goods and Services

Much like motor manufacturers, aquarium manufacturers like to update their designs on a regular basis, and there are several new products from Betta, Boyu, Elite and Fluval. Nano-tanks are still very much in vogue and there are several new models from Asia and the Far East. Also from the the Far East "Hikari" is the big name in aquarium foods and specialist products. Trading in Japan for more than 50 years, they are now making a big impact in the European markets.

For the outdoor fish keeper there are several updated filter systems from German Manufacturer Oase, who have also updated their range of Eco-friendly pond pumps.
