Fireball Angel Centropyge AcanthopsHead, upper sides, dorsal, and caudal fins golden yellow; lower two-thirds of the body and the anal fin black with numerous close-set purple spots.

Inhabits areas with coral rubble and frequently occurs in small groups of up to about 10 individuals. Feeds on small invertebrates and algae. Spawns at sunset; male stimulating the emission of eggs with biting motions on female's abdomen; eggs released and abandoned in open water without any particular parental care.
The Fireball or Flameback Angel will do best in an aquarium with live rock for it to graze on. Can be kept with a wide variety of other fishes, except large predators. If you plan to house it with other pygmy angels it is best to add them together to avoid “territorial disputes”. Some specimens may pick at LPS corals and clam mantles
